The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing preventive and primary care as a part of a health care team. The Family Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with a physician and provides care under established guidelines agreed upon by the nurse practitioner and the physician. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility in clinic and out in the field.
Duties include:
· Providing primary care to patients
· Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
· Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
· Communicating test results to patients and their families
· Recording patient medical histories
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
EXPERIENCE – At least 1 Year of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
