
Easterseals Vermont is the leading agency in the state in working hand-in-hand with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) to find family-centered solutions that promote child welfare and create safety and well-being.
We are looking for a Family Engagement Assistant to join our team right now! In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to interact and support children and their families in a variety of ways in their community. This will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Supporting family time for the child(ren) and their parent(s) throughout the community
Complete required documentation of services
Provide transportation for child(ren) and/or their parent(s)
Conduct substance screenings on behalf of DCF
High School diploma or equivalent and at least two years of human services related experience.
Associates Degree preferred.
A valid driver's license, safe driving record and a reliable vehicle with insurance that meets our coverage limits are required.
You will need to be safe and personable in interactions with young people and adults
Easterseals will provide car seats and boosters as necessary.
Hours: This is a per diem position. Hours vary day to day between 8 am and 6 pm. We do provide mileage reimbursement at the federal mileage rate.
Compensation: $18 hourly
