
We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and proactive Family Assistant / Nanny to support a busy household with two children (ages 8 and 3). This role combines childcare, household support, and logistics management.
The ideal candidate is warm, upbeat, reliable, and takes initiative—while also being open to direction and constructive feedback. We are looking for someone who brings discipline, consistency, and structure, and who is firm but kind, able to hold boundaries while maintaining a nurturing environment.
This is a dynamic role that blends childcare and family assistant responsibilities. We have a housekeeper, so the focus is on daily maintenance, organization, and keeping the home running smoothly—not deep cleaning.
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week
Weekday: 2:00 PM – 7:00/8:00 PM (required)
One Saturday or Sunday, typically a 6-hour morning block
Additional Hours available through household organization, cooking, and family assistant tasks
Compensation: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience and references
Employment Type: Payroll / contractor position
Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Additional: Potential travel opportunities (optional but preferred)
School pickups and after-school activity drop-offs/pickups (major component of role)
Supervise and engage both children in age-appropriate developmental activities
Plan creative, athletic, and educational activities (indoor and outdoor)
Support homework and school readiness
Foster independence, responsibility, and positive habits (clean-up, routines, etc.)
Maintain a safe, attentive, and nurturing environment
Keep home organized, tidy, and clean on a daily basis
Clean up after activities, meals, and throughout the day
Track, stock, and organize household supplies and groceries
Prepare and maintain grocery lists
Unpack deliveries, handle returns, and run small errands (e.g., package drop-offs)
Help maintain systems and organization across all areas of the home
Plan and prepare a diversity of healthy meals and snacks for children (and occasionally family)
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen after use
Support daily logistics and overall household flow
Keep children's belongings, school items, and activity gear organized
Assist with general household coordination and efficiency
Prior experience with children in similar age ranges
Clean driving record (required)
Comfortable driving children daily
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Energetic, positive, and engaging
Athletic and physically active
Takes initiative and anticipates needs
Open to feedback and able to implement it constructively
Strong communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

CPR certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
