The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS has locations in Dallas and Austin, TX, Melbourne, FL, and Cypress, CA. Job Summary

Provides entry-level professional administrative and program support to Material Program Management and Integrated Project Teams. Supports supply-chain coordination, data management, reporting, meeting activities, and problem identification while developing knowledge of material planning processes and systems. Maintains a professional company image and upholds the organization’s mission, values, and culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform professional administrative work of an introductory nature in preparation for career advancement
  • Perform entry-level professional administrative staff duties in support of functional areas, gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility
  • Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
  • Type and word-process draft documents and electronic information
  • Prepare routine reports with guidance
  • Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications
  • Assist in arranging meetings, conferences, and project team activities
  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and enrolled college student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to communicate successfully orally and in writing
  • Ability to efficiently utilize standard office software and computer equipment
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to contribute effectively as a junior-level member of an IPT.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
