Applicants should have three to five years of experience in the welding industry and demonstrate proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG). Experience with oxy-fuel cutting, plasma cutting, blueprint reading, fabrication, and welding safety practices is preferred.
Applicants should demonstrate the ability to teach both classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction while maintaining a safe and productive learning environment. It is also important for this individual to have a willingness to work with local industries and instructors in other technical areas to further the technical offerings at University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana.
Experience in Welding Technology, Industrial Technology, General Technology, or a related field is required. Comparable formal education or training, including military training, may also be considered. Industry certifications such as American Welding Society (AWS) certifications are a plus.

Salary Information:
Base $34,800.00. Commensurate with education and teaching experience.
