Job Description

Provides academic instruction and student academic support for the Radiologic Technology program. Performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelors degree (Radiologic Science, Education or a closely related field) or the ability to complete a Bachelors degree within 12 months.

Minimum of 2 years clinical experience

Current ARRT certification and registration in radiography

Valid driver's license.

Hiring Range: 57,000-62,000

Job Specific Task List:

  • Coordinates and assists in the development, administration and evaluation of the Radiologic Technology Program. - May travel to clinical sites. - Teaches assigned courses in qualified discipline(s). - Implements specified theoretical and clinical components of the curriculum. - (Essential)
  • Coordinates and assists in the development, administration and evaluation of the Radiological Technology Program. - Assists in the development of the Radiologic Technology budget. - Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising. - Maintains accreditation standards as outlined in the JRCERT Standards and Guidelines. - Travels to clinical sites. Teaches assigned courses in qualified discipline(s). - Implements specified theoretical and clinical components of the curriculum. - Teaches assigned courses in Radiological Technology. - Participates in curriculum development and maintenance. - Provides academic support and advising to students including establishing and maintaining a schedule of office hours. - Participates in the recruitment and hiring of new faculty through participation on assigned search committees. - Participates in college and community service activities. - Participates in professional growth activities and maintains awareness of new trends and developments within areas of instructional responsibility. - Performs other duties as assigned. - (Standard)
