The Department of Human Genetics at the University of Michigan Medical School (Ann Arbor, Michigan) is performing a broad search to fill one tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.
We encourage candidates to apply who have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, or equivalent, and who plan to employ classical and/or modern approaches to address fundamental questions in genetics and genomics. Recruited faculty will join a highly collaborative community of more than forty investigators, whose research is integrated with other basic science and clinical departments, and centers and institutes at the University of Michigan. Successful candidates will be provided with laboratory and office space, and a competitive start-up package to launch a robust research program. We expect candidates to contribute to our faculty’s strong interest in developing trainees at all levels, including teaching in the classroom and mentoring in the laboratory.
