
General Summary of the Position:
The Department of Biomedical & Nutritional Sciences (BNS) in the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences (ZCHS) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML) is seeking part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach undergraduate chemistry laboratory courses with a focus on the health sciences. This posting serves to build a pool of qualified candidates for current and future teaching needs. Courses may include: a one-semester introductory general-organic-biochemistry (GOB) laboratory course ( HSCI.1900L), a higher-level two-semester GOB laboratory course sequence ( HSCI.2530 and HSCI.2540), a one-semester organic chemistry laboratory course ( BMSC.2440), and a one-semester analytical instrumentation laboratory course ( BMSC.3630). Selected instructors will work collaboratively with, and under the guidance of, the course coordinator to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with departmental goals. Teaching assignments may vary by semester depending on departmental needs.
