Job Description

General Summary of Position:

Adjunct faculty will be responsible for complete delivery of courses in the BME department including course construction in blackboard, course delivery, student assessments (tests), grading exams and homework, and giving student grades. Courses may include Applications Programming, Quantitative Physiology, Bioinstrumentation, Neural Engineering, or Thermodynamics.

Essential Duties: Construct Blackboard Shell for course Design course materials Deliver course Prepare and deliver Student Assessments (e.g. exams, homework, projects) Upload Student Grades to SIS

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

  • MS or PhD in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
  • PhD strongly preferred, unless in a specialized area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience teaching at the college level
