  • Compensation: $58,926.40
  • Worksite Location: City Center Campus
  • *Position expected to begin on or after July 1, 2026

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Electrical Lineman to join our faculty as a 12-month instructor. This position is responsible for delivering hands-on and classroom instruction to students pursuing careers in the electrical line industry. The ideal candidate will bring real-world experience, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    • Deliver instruction in electrical linework, including safety, climbing, equipment operation, and maintenance
    • Provide hands-on training in lab and field environments
    • Develop and update curriculum to meet industry standards
    • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
    • Maintain a safe and organized training environment
    • Collaborate with industry partners and advisory boards
    • Support student recruitment, retention, and placement efforts

Requirements

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Needed:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman lineman
    • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and safety practices
    • Ability to operate and demonstrate industry equipment
    • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
