
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Faculty I position at our School of Nursing The Faculty I will assist the Curriculum Coordinator in the achievement of the objectives of the assigned year. Work collaboratively for the achievement of school objectives.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Masters with major in nursing required, Doctorate preferred. Current licensure to practice as registered nurse in the State of West Virginia. Pursuant to West Virginia Statute, 19CSR-1, an exception may be made for this requirement for faculty members who possess a bachelor’s degree with a major in nursing and are admitted and enrolled in a graduate degree program with a major in nursing within 1 year of employment in the faculty position.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of two years clinical nursing experience.
SKILLS:
Ability to do effective classroom and clinical teaching. Ability to maintain good working relationships with students, faculty, school and Medical Center personnel. Behaviors which reflect understanding, emotional stability, patience, tact and consideration for individual differences. Ability to lead, guide and direct others. BLS required.
