
The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. The appointees will be responsible for gynecologic clinical care and management of patients on campus and at off-site locations and will be responsible for emergency department and inpatient consultative services in gynecology. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
We especially welcome applicants with training and expertise in the area of gynecologic surgery, interpretation of gynecologic ultrasound, and expertise in cancer genetics.
