Do you have a passion for chemistry and a desire to help students discover the excitement behind scientific exploration? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic Adjunct Chemistry Instructors to teach lecture and laboratory courses that prepare students for academic success and careers in science, healthcare, engineering, and beyond.
As an adjunct faculty member, you'll create an engaging and inclusive learning environment while delivering high-quality instruction using a variety of teaching methods and technologies. Courses may be offered in traditional classrooms, technology-enhanced environments, online, and at off-campus locations, with opportunities to teach daytime, evening, and weekend classes.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in related field of study, with a minimum of 12 graduate credits in discipline
• Experience teaching secondary level students in field of study. Three years’ experience teaching field of study at post-secondary level preferred. Successful experience teaching at a community college or with adult learners also preferred.
• Ability to adapt to variety of teaching methodologies including lectures, group activities, individual instruction, distance learning, and teaching with technology
• Ability to demonstrate commitment to professional growth and development
• Proficiency in usage of internet, email, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications
• Experience using instructional technology preferred
Additional Instructions For Applicants:
Successful candidates are required to reside in Idaho by the first day of work for CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
