Job Description

Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning
• Develops schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required, Ph.D. preferred in History
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills Touro College emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused undergraduate environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
