How you’ll make an impact

  • Be the primary factory responsible for strategic sourcing activities by ensuring material availability, delivery performance and cost competitiveness.
  • Develop and lead a competent, technically strong SCM team to support operations.
  • Manage assigned spend with a short term and medium term sourcing strategy to meet targets on total cost of ownership, quality, and reliability of supplies.
  • Select, qualify, and classify suppliers. Negotiate and sign contracts with key global suppliers and local suppliers.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Apply SCM standards, tools, and processes to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with other functions and across similar factories on backlog execution, new product introduction, escalation cases and synergies.
  • Implements the sourcing strategy in the factory in line PL/Hub. Own the factory liaison to the Hub/BU category teams in order to provide input to the category
  • Control of material costs and lead times at tender stage. Measure gaps tender/actuals investigate on root causes and take adequate corrective/preventive measures.

Your background

  • Proven experience as Supply Chain Leader, preferably in a heavy industry product assembly environment
  • Experience in operational procurement, transportation, and logistics as well in contract negotiations and supply performance improvement projects
  • As a leader you have good listening, communication & influencing skills to build trust with your team and different stakeholders
  • Strong Collaborative skills and Non Silo working.
  • You are inspirational, result-driven, and people-oriented, have a flair for business and like to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • It is an advantage if you have knowledge of ERP systems
  • English is required, both written and spoken.
