The Impact You'll Make

As our new Quality Manager, you will play a key role in advancing quality excellence across our operations in San Sebastián where we manufacture remote controls for mobile and industrial machinery. You will help strengthen production processes, develop a proactive quality culture, and work closely with teams across the plant to ensure quality is built into everything we do.

You will also lead and develop a small team of Quality Professionals, creating an environment that supports collaboration, continuous improvement, and individual growth.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of both operational quality performance and quality governance during product development. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement, support our lean manufacturing journey, and contribute directly to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead quality activities across the factory, engaging key stakeholders to build shared ownership and continuously improve performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Drive problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as 8D and Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) to eliminate recurring issues.
• Act as the main quality contact for customers and auditors, coordinating audits, corrective actions, and technical quality discussions.
• Govern APQP quality gates and ensure quality requirements are effectively integrated into new product introductions and product improvements.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality and manufacturing within an industrial or automotive environment.
• Experience leading and developing teams while driving quality improvements and operational results.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, as well as practical experience with FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC and MSA.
• Professional proficiency in English (C1) and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or the electronics industry.
• Lead Auditor certification.
• Leadership Experience from a similar role.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification or comparable experience leading continuous improvement projects.
• Experience working with SAP QM and business intelligence tools.
