We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our established Factoring Team. In this role, you’ll help maintain high standards of cleanliness and estate management in communal blocks across the Scottish Borders.
Salary: £24,479 - £25,437 per year (pay award pending)
Location: Scottish Borders
Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday
Terms: Permanent contract
Closing Date: Wednesday 15 July 2026
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain stairwell areas in communal blocks
Litter picking on external communal areas of blocks
Report repairs and maintenance issues in communal spaces
Report concerns within the neighbourhood to the local Housing Officer
Promote safe working practices and follow SBHA's Health and Safety policies
What we're looking for:
Excellent customer care skills
Able to work with minimum supervision and to a high standard with great attention to detail
Able to work collaboratively in a Team
Holds a full and valid UK driving licence and access to own transport
Experience in cleaning and clearance of domestic and commercial properties is essential
