The City of Elk River is seeking candidates to work at the Furniture and Things Event Center in the position of Facility Worker/Ice Resurfacer. This position will operate the ice resurfacer to keep an optimal ice surface as well as perform other custodial and customer service duties, including providing supervision for open skating and other events. Number of hours vary. Hours of work will be between 4 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. weekdays and any time during hours of operation on the weekends. 2026 Salary range $18-$22/hr. Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license.
Preference given to candidates with an understanding of mechanical equipment, experience working with the public, experience working at an ice arena, and experience running an ice resurfacer.
