Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promptly address plant or facility issues and escalate as necessary. Evaluate the gravity of emergency circumstances and execute suitable responses.
  • Generate work orders, hot work permits, and fresh air permits
  • Perform inspections of facilities and equipment and prepare them for maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, operational procedures, and emergency guidelines.
  • Ensure that all personnel adhere to safe work procedures and coach others on facility operations.
  • Gather samples, oversee, and evaluate items to guarantee quality adheres to specified standards.

  • Robust decision-making and negotiation abilities
  • Willingness and capability to utilize all personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts

Qualifications Required

  • 3+ years of relevant industrial operations experience
  • A power engineering certificate is advantageous but not mandatory for all roles.
  • Class 5 driver's license is mandatory.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in Canada

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate negotiable based on experience level.
  • Living Out Allowance (LOA) provided for out-of-town candidates with covered airfare.
