Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking a Facility Technician II to add to the team. The Facility Technician II for La Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This position will wear C level PPE and work with the pumping team to pump drums. Will work in QC for chemicals, operating forklifts, manual labor, and inventory.
Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm. Monday-Friday. Overtime and Saturdays as needed
Pay: $21 DOE

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Load and unload route trucks;
Wear level C PPE;
Manual labor of drum washing;
Pumping drums;
Working with chemical profiles to identify matches to tankers;
Uses forklifts routinely to sort pallets and unload;
Uses camlock and hardlines to connect/disconnect tankers;
Manage inventory order and receiving process;
General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area;
Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner;
Resolve issues with materials in conjunction with office team staff;
All other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Experience working in C Level PPE preferred;
Experience working with chemical profiles preferred;
Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc;
2+ plus years of related labor and computer experience;
Ability to drive trucks within facility;
Forklift skills preferred- or willing to learn.
