The Facility Technician I for our Reidsville, NC facility will be responsible for performing all assigned warehouse duties safely and responsibly. This includesForklift experience required. Forklift work- loading and strapping trailers. Organizing inventory (boxes, drums, waste, pallets) in the warehouse. Utilizing drum grabbers, a safe work mentality, and scanning material. Understanding of the following processes and a strong teamwork mentality.

Shift: 1st shift 6am-5pm (Mon-Fri)

Pay: $18.50

Work Environment:

• Industrial warehouse and waste processing facility
• Facility handles hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams
• Exposure to strong odors associated with waste handling operations
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and manual labor activities
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Must be able to work indoors and outdoors as operational needs require

• Handle, sort, move, and process hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials
• Perform waste container handling, staging, labeling, and inventory activities
• Load and unload materials and containers in accordance with company procedures
• Inspect containers and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements
• Operate equipment and tools as trained and authorized
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility
• Assist with facility operations and general labor activities as assigned
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials, containers, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Follow all company, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and site-specific safety requirements
• Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties
• Work safely in an industrial environment with exposure to strong odors and waste materials

This position requires the use of company-provided PPE, which includes respirator, safety glasses, protective gloves, protective footwear, additional PPE as required by task or work area. A respirator fit test is required and is completed during the pre-employment physical examination and drug screening process. Employees must be able to meet respirator fit requirements, including maintaining a clean-shaven seal area when required.

• High School diploma or equivalent required;
• Must be 18 years or older;
• 1+ Years of related experience;
• Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required);
• Ability to use computer;
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds;
