Job Description



The Facility Technician I performs hands-on operations including drum pumping, tank farm operations, and offloading of waste materials. This role ensures safe and compliant handling of materials and equipment in support of facility operations, while in training to become a Chemical Operator.

Pay: $21

Shift: Days 7am-7pm (12 hrs.) 3/2 split Schedule / 2on, 2off, 3on, 2off………

  • Handle drum movements, unloading/loading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements.
  • Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections.
  • Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement.
  • Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain area compliance with permit standards.
  • Meet or exceed daily production goals.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Forklift training preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate within physically demanding environments.
  • Basic computer use and SOP comprehension required.

  • Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required);
  • Ability to use computer;
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds;
