Job Description

Clean Harbors in Red Deer, Alberta, is seeking a Facility Technicianto join their safety conscious team!

Performs in multiple site-specific plant operations such as, drum pumping, drum dumping, truck offloading/loading in compliance with Department of Transportation (TDG).

  • Operates a forklift, when necessary.
  • Responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating.
  • Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements
  • Ensures that work meets all applicable Company and Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Other Duties as Assigned
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Required High School or equivalent
  • Physically fit, Lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Perform general labor duties such as lifting, loading and moving materials
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications as well as mobile hand held devices
  • Understanding of waste handling
  • Previous industrial work experience.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment
