Our Facilities Team are looking for a skilled and dedicated Facilities Support Technician with an Electrical/Mechanical background to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Technician will play a key role in the efficient operation of the site, providing documentation & technical support to the facilities team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated facilities maintenance environment, knowledge of Maximo CMMS, GMP standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret data and produce documentation to support facilities operations.
Where you come in:
You will retrieve, compile, and analyze technical a data from internal systems.
You will generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
You will interpret technical information (drawings, schematics, process data) to support investigations and reporting.
You will assist with trend analysis and data evaluation to support investigation and improvement situations.
You will support the management and closure of Non-Conformances (NCs), ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
You will assist in the preparation & review of controlled documentation (SOPs, work instructions, reports)
You will liaise with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to gather information and support investigations.
You will provide technical input into quality issues based on hands-on experience.
You will contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
You will ensure all maintenance activities and other repair tasks are accurately documented and that records are audit ready at all times.
You will utilize Maximo CMMS to track and manage maintenance activities.
You will ensure compliance with GMP standards in all maintenance tasks.
You will comply with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
You will participate in audits, risk assessments, stress testing scenarios for facility systems.
You will coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors.
Requirements:
Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
You have a strong electrical or mechanical background.
You have proficiency in using Maximo CMMS.
You have a strong understanding of GMP standards.
You have a strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
You can work independently and as part of a team.
You have experience working with BMS/EMS systems.
You have experience or exposure to report writing.
