Job Description

Location: Pine Brook, NJ

Job Type: Full-Time

IPCO is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Facility Technician to support our Productivity Center and Service teams. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with industrial equipment, supporting testing activities, and ensuring tools and facilities are maintained, organized, and ready for use.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Productivity Center Support

• Maintain and operate Productivity Center equipment, including pumps, oil units, cooling conveyors, process feeding devices, rental units, and lab equipment

• Learn and follow operating and safety procedures

• Assist engineers with equipment testing and setup

• Clean equipment after testing and prepare samples for shipment

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment

• Support training activities; occasional travel may be required

• Work overtime as needed

Service & Aftermarket Support

• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on service tools and equipment

• Inspect, restock, and prepare toolboxes and consumables

• Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for shipping

• Assist with inventory tracking and ordering of consumables

• Prepare belt samples for training, customer use, and internal purposes

• Support service interventions as a helper when required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and measuring instruments

• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, procedures, and instructions

• Basic computer skills (email, documents, Microsoft Office)

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders

• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts

• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators and hearing protection

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1–3 years of related experience or technical training preferred
