Job Description

Job Location: 5601 S. Braeswood - Houston, TX 77096This is a full time, 32 hour per week position that oversees the closing procedures and operations of the Weingarten/Samuels facility and serves as a point of contact for member issues and emergencies during weekday evening hours and Saturdays.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY
- Maintain a presence and visibility throughout the entire facility during evening and Saturday hours of operations. This may also include working events at the facility as well.
- Coverage areas includes all three levels of Weingarten, all three levels of Samuels, Aquatics complex, Gymnastics and Basketball gym.
- Assist with member complaints and issues.
- Provide supervision and support for welcome desk, fitness desk and porters.
- Assure that the building is closed and secure and that all members have safely exited at the proper closing time.
- Work in coordination with the Director of Security.
- Report any emergency maintenance issues to the maintenance staff.
- Provide support and assistance to the porter staff.
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Assist with filling in warranty documents or maintenance requests.
AGENCY EXPECTATIONS
- Attend all staff meetings and gatherings.
- Participate in agency in-service trainings and programs.
- Provide administrative support for agency events.
- Provide administrative support for other areas of the agency when needed.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to make decisions in time of crisis.
- Experience with member/customer relations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Energetic, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Responsible, flexible, and team oriented
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE
Monday 4:30pm – 10:30pm
Tuesday thru Thursday 3:30pm – 9:30pm
Saturday 10:00am – 6:30pm
