O verview of Role
Liquid Robotics is currently seeking a skilled Facility Security Officer that also serves as Office Manager for our Jessup, MD facility. Reporting to the Head of Production, this position entails managing the day-to-day activities to ensure security compliance is adhered to as well as keeping Liquid Robotics headquarters running. Examples of day-to-day activities are managing facility security documents and records, performing visitor badge screening/processing, maintaining Liquid Robotics Facility Security Clearance eligibility in partnership with the Boeing Industrial Security team, ordering office supplies, ensuring routine facility maintenance activities are performed, and coordinating with facility support contractors (i.e. cleaning services). The ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment is essential. The position will be based in Jessup, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities (Primary Role Facility Security Officer):
- Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
- Develop policies and procedures to comply with company and government requirements related to Insider Threat Program management, conducting and documenting incidents of non-compliance with security requirements, reporting of adverse information and SEAD3 relevant changes for assigned personnel, and classification management of holdings and contractual documents.
- Identifiessecurity related deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action. Communicate results to security management and customers.
- SupportsBoeing Personnel Security team insubmitting applications to assist in obtaining individual security clearances and building access to meet customer requirements.
- Ensures Company/Employee compliance with required security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.
- Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Liquid Robotics facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.

K ey Responsibilities (Secondary RoleFacility Office Manager)
- Ability to communicate and coordinate facility and security policy and procedures to all employees
- Comply with HS&E policies and procedures.
- Completing and maintaining all facility documents required for Liquid Robotics Quality Management System compliance
- Managing and maintaining facilities support services/contractors (cleaners, equipment maintenance, etc.)
- Maintaining and ordering office/manufacturing/kitchen/etc. supplies
- Inspect building to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs and making notes and recommendations using a check list.
- Performs basic facilities work, with goal of minimizing external services required when possible
- Sort and distribute mail & deliveries
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
S kills/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess FSO certification from DCSA CDSE
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior military service or defense contracting experience is a plus.
- Ability to push up to 100 pounds (on wheeled dollies/carts).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb a ladder and step ladder
- Ability to work outside (rain or shine) and walk a ¼ mile distance.
U.S. Citizen status is required.
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
pay range: $85,000 - $100,000
