Job Description

MKS is establishing a new plant in the Bangkok area for production of plating chemicals. The project manager will be responsible for supervision of planning, design, construction, and inspection activities for the facility. Most important expectation is that the project is completed within approved budgets and timelines, while ensuring construction activities meet the highest standards. He/she would serve as the key country contact for oversight and acceptance of the work of contractors and consultants.

You Will Make an Impact By

  • Being well-versed with related construction methodologies and procedures.
  • Developing and managing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinating a team of professionals of different disciplines to define project scope, goals, deliverables to ultimately achieve the best results.
  • Selecting and manage vendors and contractors, including negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor project progress and quality.
  • Preparing and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Identifying potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure that all project activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements

Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility project management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing facility projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience in the chemical/surface-finishing industry or a related field.
  • Fluency in Thai and English.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
