Provides leadership for the operations of products and manages all inventory. Provides customer service and billing information and invoices in a timely and accurate manner to increase inventory accuracy and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization.
Operates all facility equipment to include but not limited to a forklift in a safe, efficient, and economical way. Responsible for managing and facilitating the delivery and inventory levels of fertilizer, crop protection and seed products to meet customer and overall business objectives. Supports management and sales employees by providing analysis related to inventory and logistics of products.
Manage product logistics, inventories and distribution to intended facilities. Coordinates with department managers to maintain profitable inventory levels at warehouse locations.
Operates product blending equipment and loading / unloading equipment, including trucks and forklift.
Completes delivery tickets, transfer tickets, and invoicing.
Serves as backup for centralized dispatch functions.
Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the facility according to company standards, maintains a safe environment of the facility and maintains the appropriate professional image.
Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts with logistics.
Serves as a back-up CDL driver as needed.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires an Associate’s degree in an applicable field, or the equivalent thereof , and 3 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of product facility operations, elevator
operations, and equipment operations.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Strong organizational & leadership skills.
Strong product knowledge.
Must obtain/have and maintain a valid CDL driver’s license with applicable endorsements, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to work extended hours during peak production times.
