Key Responsibilities:
Operate andmonitortreatmentplant systems, including startup, shutdown, and routine checks.
Adjust pumps, chemical feeders, and control systems tomaintainwater quality.
Collect and analyze water samples, perform laboratory tests, and record results according to Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs)andin accordance withstandard laboratorypractices
Maintainaccuraterecords of chemical dosages, flows, pressures, and water quality indicators.
Perform corrective maintenance on plant equipment and routine facility upkeep.
Load/unloadtreatmentchemicals andoperatesludge press equipment.
Respond to alarms, unusual conditions, and emergencies; communicate effectively with team and management.
UtilizeSCADA and other company software for plant operations and security.
Participatein training and cross-training programs.
All work to be performedin accordance withcompany safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MinimumRequirements
High school diploma or GED.
Valid PA driver’s license.
Ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
PA DEP Class B Water TreatmentOperatorLicense withrequiredsubclasseswithin48 months
Maintainlaboratoryaccreditationstatus
Ability to use computers/tablets and follow written and verbal instructions.
Able to lift 75lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Prior water industry experience.
College coursework in chemistry, biology, or environmental science.
Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
Work Schedule
Rotating shiftsincludingweekends and holidays; schedule may include daylight, afternoon, or overnight shifts.Must be available forovertime andcall outs.
