PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assisting Site General Manager to strengthen and lead Site Facility Operations to support Crown’s fast-growing service and research partnership businesses.

· Ensuring smooth daily operations run for Crown’s Taicang site; improve organizational efficiency; and build a highly efficient operational structure and company culture.

· Responsible for (but not limited to) Facilities & Security, Lab Equipment Management and Animal Centers.

· Overseeing facilities and major equipment operations, including utilities, building systems, engineering support, emergency response mechanisms, and business continuity planning.

· Responsible for laboratory equipment management, including instrument planning, procurement support, installation, qualification, calibration and maintenance programs, asset lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of equipment management systems.

· Ensuring that operational processes, equipment management, and documentation practices meet applicable internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.

· You will also work with other functions, such as Logistics, Project Management, QA/QC management, Finance department, IT as well as participate and contribute to scientific operations with scientific departmental heads and division leaders. It is vital that you partner closely with leaders of those functions to ensure smooth operations.

· Conducting other duties as required by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Minimum at bachelor’s degree, preferred majors include facility engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering, automation, instrumentation engineering, biomedical engineering, or other engineering/technical disciplines.

· With biology background, animal related background or working experience in biological industry is preferred.

· Experience in managing facilities, laboratory equipment, or site operations within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech, or research organization is highly advantageous.

· Experience supporting site operations for medium‑to‑large scientific organizations.

· Experience in logistics and purchasing is a plus.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

· Fluent English and Mandarin speaking and writing skills.

· Good management skills, a self - starter and strategic thinker.

· Good at identifying problems and issues; able to creatively resolve different challenges.

· Demonstrate discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters.

· Require an approachable personal style, effective problem analysis, high emotional intelligence to engage with senior leaders and employees.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

· Currently Report to: Site General Manager

· Works with: Departmental Leader, Across Site General Managers, Corporate Functions
