Job Description

Oversee China all sales entities’ and labs’ facilities operations, office moves/expansion & renovation projects, administration and EHS works,to be in compliance with local regulation and the company direction by leading and supervising facility management, administration team, and EHS. The goal is to ensure our business accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

The role mainly covers the following 3 aspects’ management activities:

Facility management

  • Lead facility management to ensure facility activities are reliable, sustainable, safe and aligned with the legal compliant environment (i.e. lab) & workplaces
  • Oversee all sites’ projects, like office construction, renovation, etc. in response to sites’ end users’ request, and accommodate new business requests

Administration management

  • Oversee all administrative works ranging from purchasing of office stationery, pantry supplies, office equipment, furniture and fittings for China branches by leading administrative team.
  • Responsible for office leasing selection, extension, negotiation with the landlord, to ensure to get the optimal price and service.
  • Supervise the team to work and negotiate with all types of vendors for office lease or procurement matters to ensure the company to obtain the best competitive contract pricing.
  • Guide the team in terms of travel operations, property ma
  • Lead the team to organize all company level activities, i.e. annual party, family day, etc.

EHS management

  • Supervise EHS and set up China EHS policies, directives and procedures and support development of related regulations
  • Implement the OHS (occupational health safety), and EMS (environment management system) to keep a safe, clean and energy effective environment
  • Assist business to identify applicable EHS legal requirements and potential EHS impacts, hazards and risks and set up improvement plans
  • Responsible for labs’ EHS activities in terms of new projects support (EIA, SIA, HIA) and daily EHS maintenance.

Requirements

  • Good experience of facility management both operation and project
  • At least 10 years work experience in facility and administration areas.
  • At least 3 years experiences in a managerial role.
  • Must have experience in office relocation, office space planning, office construction management, office leasing.
  • Have EHS knowledge, life science lab EHS knowledge is a plus
  • Good English both writing and speaking are mandatory
  • Good communication skills. Open, integrity and can work under high pressure
  • Self-motivated, positive mindset, dynamic, and results-driven with solid problem-solving skill.
  • High sense of quality, responsibility and compliance.
  • Ability to interact with senior management team.
