Job Description

Provide maintenance, repairs, and support to facility equipment and building systems. - Responsible for routinely completing and responding to work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.

1st Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:40pm or 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.

  • Maintain accurate record of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems that are tested on a routine basis.

  • Perform repairs and facility support tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to, light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, and maintaining operation logs.

  • Perform carpentry duties such as painting, caulking, installing drywall, and installing shelving.

  • Perform plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, installing fixtures, and replacing internal components.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

Required Experience:

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

  • At least 1 year of general building maintenance experience.

  • Experience applying knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems.

  • Valid Illinois driver’s license.

  • Willing to work weekends or other overtime hours as business needs dictate.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$18.50 - $26.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
