Job Description

Turner Industries Group is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician for our Decatur, AL office. This position's primary responsibility is to keep the Decatur facilities functional and safe. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and experience using computers.

This position is also responsible for:

• Maintaining buildings, grounds, and associated equipment with the properties
• Buildings and grounds maintenance
• Inspections, monthly / yearly on fire, and safety equipment.
• Utilities, Plumbing, Security and Gate access.
• HVAC, change filters, clean units per schedule. Coordinate repairs.
• Building lighting, electrical system and network wiring maintenance and repairs.
• Ground maintenance-parking lot grading, lighting, and cleaning.
• Coordinate landscaping, grasscutting, weed eating & spraying.
• Bush hog property as needed.
• Monitor janitorial service which includes bathrooms and office areas.
• Schedule, perform and document all necessary preventative maintenance plans.
• Manage contractor repairs for buildings and grounds.
• Schedule shipping of any packages or freight departing the facility.
