What’sthe role
As a Facilities Engineer, you will be theprimaryengineeringfocalfor theassigned Distribution OperationsTerminal, or a cluster of Terminals,representingthe Engineeringorganization In this role, you will ensure that engineeringprograms, initiatives andactivities are carried out safely, effectively, and in line withdefinedcodes,standardsand practices You will provide guidance and support for maintenance, inspection, andprojects, while also helping to deliver key business programs at the siteor clusterlevel. In addition, you will work closely with the Lead Facilities Engineer to ensure that all operationalsitesmeet important safety and compliance requirements, particularly those related to asset integrity and process safety, and construction safety
You willbe responsible fora wide range of equipment and systems. This includesoil and gasstorage tanks, pipelines, and associated piping systems, as well as marine facilities such as jetties, wharves, and mooring systems. Your scope also covers pumps, meters, and other equipment used to move products, along withsafeguarding,control and measurement systems like tank gauges, alarms, and shutdown devices.
Whatyou’llbe doing
Support daily operations, maintenance work, and engineering projects
Comply toengineering standards and safety requirements to keep people and equipment safe
Work closely with team members and specialists acrossdifferent functions
Helpidentifyways to improve processes and equipment performance
Take part in investigating equipment issues to find root causes and prevent repeat problems
Assistin project implementation, including reviewing scope, timelines, and budgets
Help ensure equipment is reliable and alwaysoperatedsafely

Storage tanks and pressure vessels
Piping systems and pipelines
Rotating equipment such as pumps and meters
Instrumentation and control systems
Fire protection systems
Safety and pressure relief systems
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree inMechanical, Chemical,Petroleum,Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field
At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience
Experience supporting equipment reliability, maintenance, or asset care
Basic understanding ofapplicableindustrycodes,standardsandpractices(such as API, ASME, IOGP)
Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or process plant environments
Understanding of equipment and plant operations
Projectand Construction safety management
Experience in equipment inspection, maintenance, and reliability
Awareness of safety practices and risk management
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Good communicationskills and ability to work with different teams
