Job Purpose:
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of building systems and infrastructure. This role ensures that facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with applicable standards while supporting the business with reliable facility services.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, upgrades, and inspections.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Prepare maintenance reports, incident logs, and service records.
Support energy efficiency initiatives and cost optimization efforts.
Conduct routine site inspections and follow up on snag lists.
Manage AMC contracts and ensure service-level agreements are met.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and resolve technical issues promptly.
Assist in facility upgrades, space planning, and asset management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in facilities or building maintenance (preferably in the UAE).
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
Familiarity with BMS systems, CMMS software, and maintenance workflows.
Excellent troubleshooting and vendor management skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple sites if required.
