Position Summary

The Facility Coordinator is the first contact for visitors and materials for our Wabanaki Public Health and Wellness (WHPW) buildings. This position works closely with the Director of Facilities to keep communications and schedules harmonized while assisting in the management and repair of all WPHW Facilities and Vehicles.

Position Details:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position
  • The starting salary for this position is $23.28 hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and receive guests, service technicians, and deliveries
  • Receive, inventory, and route packages and deliveries
  • Perform Building and Safety Inspections as required
  • Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment
  • Performing routine maintenance on facilities, facilitating repairs as needed
  • Manages the tracking of Fleet Vehicles and keep logbooks up to date
  • Manage inventory and keep a database of all assets and supplies
  • Preparing facilities and equipment for changing weather conditions
  • Collaborating with upper management on budgeting for department needs
  • Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensuring timely response and correction of all concerns
  • Maintains a recordkeeping system documenting facility use, maintenance schedules, and any other information required by internal policy or by local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Maintains an ongoing dialogue and working relationship with staff from other departments to ensure facilities needs and problems are quickly communicated, identified, and resolved.
  • Assists with preparation of the yearly facilities management budget and special budgets.
  • All other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Be independently motivated and able to carry out work activities individually and as a part of a team
  • Effective communication skills, to include computer operation.
  • Able to work in a fast pace and changing environment
  • This is a multifaceted position and requires visits to all of our properties.
  • Must pass all background checks required by program guidelines.
  • Must have and maintain valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and a driving record eligible for coverage on organization’s auto insurance policy
  • Willingness to travel with some overnights for training events, meetings, gatherings, and events.
