Facility Coordinator Summary

The Facility Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily facility operations through the coordination of receiving, shipping, waste tracking documentation, and administrative support functions. This role works closely with plant operations to ensure outbound and inbound paperwork is processed accurately, inventories are maintained, and regulatory documentation is completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Monday - Friday

Pay - $24 - $29 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily receiving and shipping activities based on business needs
  • Maintain working knowledge of plant receiving, drum staging, profile access, and profile printing
  • Perform data entry into PowerSuite, WIN, Outlook shared files, and other local databases
  • Create, print, and manage outbound manifests and hazardous waste labels for outbound loads
  • Organize and maintain plant paperwork, truck-to-truck paperwork, and related shipping documentation
  • Maintain trailer inventories and scanning storage area records
  • Create TPO shipping papers for rejected materials
  • Assist with supply management and maintain proper housekeeping within assigned work areas
  • Support facility operations with general clerical and administrative duties
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures
  • May be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 0–3 years of administrative, logistics, shipping, receiving, or facility support experience preferred
  • Experience working in an industrial, warehouse, transportation, or environmental setting is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
  • Experience with PowerSuite, WIN, or waste tracking systems preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Must be dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily sedentary work with extended computer usage
  • Ability to sit for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Occasional walking, reaching, and light lifting as needed
  • Ability to read and review shipping paperwork, manifests, and computer screens accurately
  • Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and web conferencing tools
