Facility Coordinator



Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative and shipping/receiving needs of the facility. This role is responsible for coordinating plant paperwork, data entry, outbound shipping documents, hazardous waste labels, and inventory tracking while helping keep operations organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a team environment with strong computer and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate plant receiving activities, drum staging, profile access, and printing needs
  • Perform data entry into Powersuite, WIN, and local databases
  • Handle general clerical and administrative duties for the facility
  • Print and create outbound manifests and hazardous waste labels for outbound loads
  • Organize and maintain plant paperwork, including truck-to-truck paperwork
  • Maintain trailer inventories and enter data into shared Outlook files
  • Scan and organize storage areas as needed
  • Create TPO shipping papers for rejected materials
  • Assist with supply management in assigned area of responsibility
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and organization within the work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0–3 years of related administrative, shipping/receiving, or facility support experience
  • Working knowledge of plant receiving, drum staging, and shipping documentation preferred
  • Experience with data entry and Windows-based computer applications required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Comfortable performing clerical work in a plant or operations setting

Physical Requirements

  • This is a sedentary position with sitting required for most of the workday
  • Ability to use a computer constantly throughout the day
  • Walking and standing occasionally
  • Rare lifting of up to 10 pounds
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this role. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs.
