Essential Functions:

  • Initiate and monitor the required service, labor and materials to execute facility and equipment repairs for items such as, but not limited to, HVACs, Hot Water Heaters, pumps, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.
  • Maintain supply Inventory Management
  • Track and monitor routine preventative maintenance tasks such as, but not limited to, janitorial and HVAC predictive and corrective maintenance.
  • Coordinate repair work with maintenance techs and schedule planned services with residents.
  • Coordinate the required service labor and materials for special projects such as but limited to, small scale construction, signage replacement, carpet replacement, office painting, office moves, resident move ins/out, and new equipment/furniture roll-outs, installations, resident communications, etc.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external personnel for various projects.
  • Travel to work sites, if required and attend trainings as designated.
  • Conduct routine bidding for any Facility Department vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Some post-secondary schooling or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Experience supporting Maintenance or Facility Departments.

Education and Training:

  • Required: High school diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in facility management functions.
  • Experience working with maintenance technicians.
  • Experience working with space plans and supplies.
  • Project Management Training and/or experience.
