About the Role
As a Commercial Cleaner / Janitorial Team Lead, you'll combine hands-on custodial responsibilities with leadership duties to ensure our facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for employees, visitors, and the individuals we serve. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help create spaces that support dignity, independence, and community.

What You'll Do
As an essential member of our Facilities & Building Services team, you will:
- Lead and actively participate in daily cleaning operations throughout a multi-level facility.
- Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and waste removal.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, common areas, break rooms, and other high-traffic spaces.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, carpet care, and spot cleaning.
- Monitor inventory and maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and janitorial resources.
- Prepare meeting rooms, training spaces, and event areas as needed.
- Respond to facility cleaning needs and occasionally support residential locations.
- Ensure all cleaning practices meet health, safety, and organizational standards.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and exceptional service.
- Help create a positive, welcoming environment for everyone who enters our facilities.

QualificationsWhat We're Looking For
Preferred

Qualifications
- Experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, housekeeping, or facility maintenance.
- Previous experience as a lead, supervisor, crew leader, or janitorial team leader preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care equipment, carpet cleaning techniques, and facility cleaning procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and stay productive throughout the day.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
