Job Description

We are looking for an Facility Class A Driver who is ethical, punctual and self-led, responsible for railcar pre and post inspection paperwork. Unloading petroleum to and from railcars and tankers. Following all DOT and FRA guidelines.

Wage: $32-38hr DOE

  • Inspects railcars to meet the requirements of governmental requirements
  • Organizes and maintains truck and rail loading areas.
  • Acts as the rail switchman.
  • Review and produce paperwork to insure compliance with company, governmental rules and regulations
  • Sample all inbound rail cars, trucks and trailers
  • Prepare the sample and submit for lab analysis
  • Prepares paperwork receipts for filing and processing
  • Unload/Loading rail cars and tankers
  • General housekeeping of the facility
  • Mut follow all SOP’s

What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors Company?

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Class A with hazmat and tanker endorsement
  • 1-2 years of loading/unloading railcars preferred
  • Must be able to lead self and work well independently
  • Excellent communication and detail oriented
  • Petroleum experience is a plus!
  • 1-2 years forklift experience preferred
  • Must be able to work simple mathematical calculations
  • Mechanically inclined is a plus!
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, climb, bend, and stoop
