Facility Administrator – Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center

About the Position The Facility Administrator for Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) located in Oklahoma City, OK will join a dynamic network of mental health leaders in growing the access to evidence-based behavioral healthcare throughout the state. As the leader of OCCIC, the Facility Administrator will oversee the operation of this 24/7 facility, including clinical and administrative policies and practices, continuing to expand access to innovative care, and partnering with stakeholders to meet the behavioral health needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations for OCCIC, ensuring 24/7 clinical and administrative services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical and administrative policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health care.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives focused on client safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with local and state stakeholders, including government agencies, law enforcement, hospitals, community organizations, and other behavioral health providers.
  • Provide strong leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Oversee budget development, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal sustainability and compliance with funding requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.
  • Engage in direct care coverages where indicated to provide support to staff both clinically and administratively.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree,
  • Four (4) years of relevant professional experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory or administrative capacity,
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of education (master’s degree or doctorate) for one year of experience.

NOTE: A maximum of two (2) years of education can be substituted for two (2) years relevant professional experience.

NOTE: No substitution will be allowed for the required professional experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity.

Preference will be given to applicants who hold a current Oklahoma state license as an, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC-MH, or similar.

Preference will be given to current OCCIC Employees.

Special Requirements:

  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license

About us: Within this division of ODMHSAS, our employees help support community providers who are providing substance abuse and mental health services to all Oklahomans, including children, youth, and families across the state. We do this through ongoing training, support, and technical assistance for our contracted and state-operated providers, juvenile drug courts, family drug courts, and other community providers. Additionally, ODMHSAS serves as the state authority on behavioral health policy and administrative rules, as well as administering Oklahoma’s Behavioral Health Medicaid program.
