The Facilities Utility Worker role is an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into the Eldora'sdaily operations. As a pivotal component of the resort’s functionality, you will engage in a diverse range of tasks across the entire mountain. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections of common spaces in the base area.
Keep bathrooms clean and well stocked.
Removal and disposal of trash and recycling from lodges and outdoor areas while following environmental guidelines for waste disposal, recycling, and resource management.
Maintain function of lodge areas (making/stoking fireplaces, clearing tables, resetting eating areas).
Conduct snow removal and ice control around the base area, including walkways, decks, and entryways.
Assist in the proper routing of snow and ice runoff, ensuring adequate erosion and sediment control.
Daily set up and take down of fencing and ski racks.
Operate and help maintain resort vehicles and equipment, such as trucks, snowblowers, hand tools, some power tools, and utility carts.
Ensure proper storage and regular servicing of tools and machinery.
Aid guests as needed, helping with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
Coordinate with other departments, such as ski patrol, guest services, and lift ops to ensure efficient operations.
Report any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors or relevant department heads promptly.
Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to and reinforcing a safe working environment for self, coworkers, work crews, and guests.
All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in the Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for guests.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $19+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
