Facilities Technician III, Mon-Fri, Days
Entegrisis seeking to addaFacilities Technician to performhazardous waste operationswithin our Hazardous Wasteteam. The position will be independently responsible for coordinating and executinga number ofhazardous waste tasks across multiple buildings. These tasks include managing daily hazardous waste shipments, performing satellite waste inspections, andvarious other facilitiesefforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Taking daily inventories and working with internal and external stakeholders to schedule hazardous waste shipments.
Managing and creating required regulatory paperwork such as DOT manifests
Coordinating internal lab packs with end users and vendors.
Performing satellite wastepick upsaccording to regulatory requirements andoperation’sneeds.
Be part of on-call rotation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Complieswith all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Performs assigned day-to-dayhazardous waste inspections, inventories, emergenciesand preventive maintenance.
Maintains proper regulatory and internalrecords as required.
Ability to work according to priority ofassigned work orders, daily plant needs and emergency needs
Perform maintenance, cleaning and calibrations onfacilitiesequipment.
Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICESNSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
RCRA Certified
DOT Hazmat Transportation
MA Wastewater Level 1 license, or ability to obtain within 1 yearis preferrable
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
Valid driver's licenserequired.
Ability to move chemical drums, and chemical totes.
Ability to climb ladders,staging andplatforms
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Usespersonalcomputerand / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training. Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Pay range is $30-$35 per hour depending upon experience.
