Job Description

Empath Health is seeking an Facilities Technician II is responsible for performing routine repair work and maintaining designated buildings and grounds. Performs skills tradesmen construction and renovation work as assigned.

Location: Sarasota

Schedule: Per diem (PRN) - position is as neeed, PTO coverage, special projects (no set scheudule)

What you'll Do

• Diagnose problems and/or repair equipment
• Analyze and assess situations and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions
• Assemble and install equipment, working knowledge of the trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and building construction methods
• Ensure equipment and fixtures are in good working condition
• Travel to Empath sites, a company vehicle is provided

What You'll Need

• 2-3 years maintenance experience
• General knowledge of and experience in general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, painting, wall repair, equipment and shelving installation, and grounds maintenance
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance and Drivers License
• Strong customer service skills and communication skills
