Keep the building running so the instruments can keep moving.
Instrumentum is a national sterile processing partner — we help hospitals and surgery centers run efficient, compliant, and safe instrument reprocessing operations. The building you maintain is what makes that possible: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and the sterilization equipment itself all depend on the work this role does every day.
Two full-time shifts available at this location — day shift and evening shift — supporting a facility that combines climate-controlled interior space with rooftop and mechanical-room work.
People who'd rather fix the small problem before it's a work order than wait for it to become one. You're comfortable moving between a climate-controlled office and a rooftop unit in the same shift, and you document what you did instead of just doing it.
This is a production/clinical-adjacent environment — climate-controlled indoors and rooftop/uncontrolled spaces, with ladders and occasional confined spaces. We'd rather you know now than find out in week two.
Full-time, on-site. After-hours on-call rotation required. Occasional local travel between Instrumentum facilities when covering transportation-technician duties
3422 Atlanta Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85040
No travel beyond occasional local travel (<10%). No direct patient contact.

As health systems focus on revenue growth by increasing surgical volume, they must address their sterile processing department's (SPD) lack of capacity, short-staffing, aged equipment and ultimately the capital investment required to keep pace with their growth targets.
We can help. No two health systems are the same, so we begin with an assessment of your SPD operations and go from there.
Let's get started.
What we deliver:
● A scalable, centralized and load-balanced SPD that eliminates the need for multimillion-dollar upgrades
● Instrumentum system-wide standardization so every one of our facilities can pass a Joint Commission inspection with confidence
● Traceability and transparency from the OR to our doors and back again
● Efficient tray turnaround that strengthens surgical flow and margins
