The Facilities Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving critical facility utility systems that support production and site operations. This role has primary responsibility for HVAC systems, compressed air, RODI water systems, wastewater systems, and other general facility infrastructures.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in industrial facilities, utility systems, mechanical equipment, and site support services. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, safety, environmental, vendors, and contractors to ensure reliable facility performance.

• Several years of experience in facilities, utilities, industrial maintenance, manufacturing support, or a related technical environment.
• Experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, wastewater, or general facility systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, utility, and building infrastructure equipment.
• Working knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, piping, filtration systems, tanks, fans, compressors, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, utility diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience completing work orders and maintenance documentation in a computerized maintenance management system, CMMS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Ability to support production and facility needs across multiple shifts, including occasional overtime, weekends, or off-shift support as business needs require.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, meters, gauges, and facility diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environments, mechanical rooms, utility areas, wastewater areas, confined spaces, elevated platforms, and outdoor equipment areas.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, quality, and equipment reliability.
