About the Team

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Facilities Technician to support general facility upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance at our Dallas office.

About the Role

As a Facilities Technician, you’ll perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks while ensuring facilities, equipment, and systems remain safe, functional, and efficient. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple trades. You are a strong problem-solver who can manage tasks independently while collaborating with a broader team when needed.

What You'll Do

  • Perform general repairs and troubleshooting across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
  • Execute preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including power tools, ladders, and diagnostic devices.
  • Install and repair lock systems and door hardware.
  • Perform light electrical work, including replacing outlets, switches, and lighting components.
  • Complete basic plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and replacing fixtures.
  • Interpret basic building systems and blueprints to support maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate logs and updates within maintenance or work order systems.
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while performing work.
  • Travel between multiple sites, if required.

What You'll Need

  • Experience performing general maintenance across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
  • Strong understanding of building systems and basic blueprint interpretation
  • Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
  • Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities and work orders
  • Understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel between multiple job sites, if required
  • Valid driver’s license (required if travel between sites is required)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, tools, and equipment as needed
  • Comfortable working at heights (on ladders) and in confined or awkward spaces
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing manual labor for extended periods
