Are you our next Malta EVOlutioneer?

We are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team. If you enjoy practical work, fixing problems, and helping a workplace run smoothly, this role will give you the chance to make a real impact every day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To provide ongoing maintenance and support of the company`s building systems and be able to fix minor defects.
• Supervise and escort specialists and subcontractors working with the building technical systems.
• Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as needed.
• Makes minor plumbing repairs, as necessary.
• Performs basic electrical work and determines when an electrician is required.
• Performs basic cosmetic repairs, such as local wall painting, putty
• Performs basic HVAC works and repairs, such as filters replacement
• Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences
• Repairs building’s hardware equipment, such as doors, windows etc.
• Dismantles and installs, and repairs furniture if required.
• Transports goods or equipment as assigned.
• Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by Direct Manager
• The employee is responsible for proper, high-quality and timely execution of his job obligations.
• The employee is responsible for trusted work resources and items

Qualifications

• Secondary or vocational education is required for this role.
• Knowledge of Maltese and basic English (writing)
• At least 2 years of experience in building systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• A strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel.
